The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer - Pistol Star Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

I am an admin for The Howling Boutique's Facebook Group and I also run the Instagram account. Find out more info here.

I previously reviewed this polish here. Be nice, I thought they were good swatches. I recently decided to reswatch some polishes (and eventually all of the ones that I kept) so this ended up in the pile. Slowly, I will have decent swatches up and hopefully the old ones will just be a distant memory.

Pistol Star is a holographic duochrome with a strong color shift from bright blue to vibrant purple.

Glossy nail macro.

Look at these baby nails! Sometimes I like having baby nails (I'm less likely to break them at work), but usually I wish for super long, pointy nails. I would get acrylics if I weren't so fearful of it causing damage to my nails (bad experience in my teens).

This polish only required one coat to be fully opaque. I couldn't test if there was light coming through the free edge on this one, but I've worn it before and since with longer nails and one coat always is enough. It dried down smooth and with ease.

Matte nail macro.

With a matte top coat, this just looks a bit like a pair of jeans. Weird, I know. My mind is all over the place, you're welcome.
