Sephora Luxe - Skincare by Age: 30's | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

It's time for another Play! Smarts/Play! Luxe bag. It's confusing, they're the same thing. This is very much a 'luxe' bag but I only paid $20 for this whole thing! In case you don't know, Play! Smarts/Play! Luxe bags are one-offs that Sephora randomly releases. Sometimes you'll get an app notification but usually, I found these by just going to the website/app and searching. I wish they set up a special landing page like Target does for these so I wouldn't have to try so hard to get a bag! You do get to see what's coming in the box before you buy (it may be completely specific or say there will be X brand in it).

It's been a while since I've seen these pop up, but I haven't been checking as frequently as I was in the past.

Now to the bag!

I loved these round bags when I first got them, even kept one for traveling with breakables, until I realized how little you can fit in it.

Cute in theory, ineffective when you need to pack a literal crap ton.

Info cards part 2.

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel ($8.80) - I so badly wanted to use these but I legit am fearful of what would happen if I used this. My skin can be sensitive and 'extra strength peel' sounded a bit too much for me.

Tarte Drink of H2O Hydrating Boost ($7.40) - This is such a good moisturizer. Not only did I use this up (and another sample I've received), I bought a massive jar of it as well. I use it at night, my only remark is it does make your skin sticky when it starts to dry so you will need to let it dry all of the way down before your next step.

Fresh Black Tea Age Delay Eye Concentrate ($13.60) - Such a good eye cream. My under eyes are super dark and this did seem to make a difference through use.

Kiehl's Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash ($3.90) - I don't get why I am getting products for normal to oily skin when I have my profile set to Sahara. This dried me out (before I saw the normal-to-oily part) and had instant regrets.

Tatcha The Deep Cleanse ($6.33) - I. Am. Fancy. I used Tatcha on my face. I thought this would be one of those things that you're supposed to like because of the name, but it's actually really good!

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen ($6.40) - Back in the day, we received Supergoop every month between Ipsy and Birchbox, or it felt like it. Now that it's been a while, and I understand how important susncreen is, I'm not mad about it at all. Is this adulthood? Weird.

This bag was valued at $46.43, double what I paid for it. I definitely liked the bag and it introduced me to some stuff I probably would have never tried otherwise (see Tatcha).

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
