Fortune Cookie Soap Of the Month - December 2017 (Celebrate Box) | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

This box has been revamped since I purchased it. It's going to be a hybrid of the old Fortune Cookie Soap Box and the OTM Box. The box is $16.95 monthly, $67.80 quarterly (four boxes yearly a la the old school box), and $186.12 yearly. Go here for all of the info. Yes, FCS will be returning to my house in 2019.

What is Fortune Cookie Soap's FCS of the Month Box?: Fortune Cookie Soap of the Month is Fortune Cookie Soap's monthly box to get your monthly fix of FCS products. It launched at the beginning of the year and has had some amazing themes so far. Each month's box has a different theme (hair, body, face, feet, etc.) and will have a mix of past, present, and new scents/products along with at least one brand new product. You can skip any months you want to so it's the perfect subscription if you want specific items or only want a few boxes a year.

How Much is Fortune Cookie Soap's FCS of the Month Box?: FCS of the Month is $28.00 plus shipping ($6.95 for the US). Use code 'Firstfcsbox' to save $6.95 off of your first box.

I love that FCS does the themes based on the next month so you have a full month to enjoy the box!

Info card.

Bath Bomb (Ball Drop) ($6.99) - I don't take baths nor do I do bath bombs. I have a few that I keep to break up and do mani bombs the three times a year I do them, so this wasn't for me. Pass.

Hand Poured Soy Candle (Make a Wish) ($14.99) - This smells SO good that I haven't even burned it and the cold throw is enough to make my vanity area smell so good. I'm never letting it go! Keep.

Solid Sugar Scrub (Let Them Eat Cake!) ($12.99) - In concept, this is perfect. In application, there are sprinkles all over the floor and bits of sugar being sought after by pups. Pass.

Shimmer Body Wash (Time to Shine) ($10.99) - I didn't much care for the scent of this. It's a little too flowery for my normal taste and I don't love the idea of shimmer all over my body right as I get clean. Pass.

Mist Me (Now Ya Gotta Kiss Me) ($6.99) - I don't have much use for a body spray. I don't see the point in using one, I don't regularly exercise to the point of being gross, I don't do outside days in the sun or in the snow, I just don't have a use for this. The idea is cute for those that need the refreshing or whatever but it's just not me. Pass.

Liquid Highlighter (You Glow, Girl!) ($9.99) - This is a stunning highlighter. It's light enough for it to show up on my skin and I love that it's pink. I did pass this along only because I don't wear a lot of liquid highlights.

Lip & Cheek Stain (XOXO) ($9.99) - This is a nice bit of tint for a 'no makeup' makeup look. It's a little berry but it's also super moisturizing. I wore this both on my lips and on my cheeks when I don't wear actual makeup besides concealer to look halfway alive. Keep.

L-R: Liquid Highlighter (not blended out), Liquid Highlighter (blended out), Lip & Cheek Stain.

This box was valued at $72.93, definitely worth the cost of the box if you kept most of your items. I didn't do that so this box wasn't much worth it for me.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments.
