The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer - Azoth Review | June 2018 Polish Pickup | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Oh my, y'all. I need to show y'all how behind I am on swatching polishes but this is another oldie but goodie. Luckily it's from this year so...that's nice...until I bring out a polish from 2014/2015 and then I realize that I need to stop buying polish.

Here's Azoth from the June 2018 PPU (Video Games)!

Azoth is a pale blue holographic base with bronze-to-green and red-to-green color shifting aurora pigment, red/bronze/copper chameleon shimmer, red-to-gold and red-to-green color shifting shimmer, red sparks, bronze and red pearl flakies, and iridescent red-to-green color shifting microglitter.

Glossy nail macro.

Okay, so I wasn't sure if I was going to be in love with this polish or not. It's a little icier than what I normally gravitate towards but I so wanted this because of the inspo (Haunting Ground) and of course, I am a collector of THB's polishes. On, this is stunning. It's full of bobs and bits and is so special and different than what I have in my collection.

The application was super easy, as all THB polishes are. There was some minor texture, totally expected considering how many bits and bobs are in this.

Matte nail macro.

I really like this matte, but the aurora pigment definitely hides under a matte top coat.

Formula: Very good.
Coats for Opacity: Two coats.
Ease of Dry: Normal dry.
Texture: Minor texture noted.
Finish: Shine
Removal: Normal removal, no issues noted.
Top Coat Used: Glossy/Matte.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
