What is Fortune Cookie Soap's FCS of the Month Box?: Fortune Cookie Soap of the Month is Fortune Cookie Soap's monthly box to get your monthly fix of FCS products. It launched at the beginning of the year and has had some amazing themes so far. Each month's box has a different theme (hair, body, face, feet, etc.) and will have a mix of past, present, and new scents/products along with at least one brand new product. You can skip any months you want to so it's the perfect subscription if you want specific items or only want a few boxes a year.

It's a pirate's life for me! Coin and all.

Yes, I danced when I saw the theme. I will forever love POTC.

Info card.

OCD Hand Sanitizer (Walk the Plank) ($2.89) - I. Hate. Glitter. Hand sanitizers. Good smell, bad glitter that just dries and leaves glitter everywhere. Hard pass.

Exfoliating Body Wash (Black Pearl) ($12.99/full size) - I really love this scent. It's fruity and tobacco-y, basically what I think a pirate would smell like on a good day. I don't do exfoliating body washes, though, so this was passed along. I did think about just sniffing it from time to time but I felt it was a waste of the product.

Shimmering Perfume Oil (Mermaid Tears) ($8.99) - I don't have the words to describe what this smells like other than sweet, almost too sweet. I am always a little nervous about perfume oils because I am generally messy and oils cause problems with clothing. This also has some blue pigment that does leave a bit of a blue tinge so it's not something I use frequently.

Whipped Cream (Monkey Business) ($6.99/full size) - This has a fruity and sweet scent and is super moisturizing, like all of the Whipped Creams from Fortune Cookie Soap. The fruity scent really hangs stronger than the sweet, which is something I'm a fan of.

Facial Cleansing Oil (Aqua de Vida) ($) - I used this as my cleansing oil when I was in Europe because I knew it would work but I wouldn't have to worry about my larger FCS cleansing oils being lost/damaged, and it lasted longer than the three weeks I was there so I still have it in my pile of products to finish off. It smells amazing and works just as I would like it to.

Lip Scrub (Parlay) ($) - Like I've mentioned in the past, I don't use a lot of lip scrubs anymore. Instead of scrubbing off flakey skin, I work on keeping my lips moisturized to not have those nasty flakes.

Solid Foot Scrub (Calypso) ($10.99/full size) - This is a solid no from me. Nothing against the product, I just don't do foot scrubs or anything outside of washing them in the shower. I'm weird, I know.

Fortune Cookie Soap (Bring Me That Horizon) ($3.75) - Love the quote, honestly. I actually bought a second of these soaps because I wanted to have the color combo as a second one. I have a vase full of these as decoration in the bathroom. They could be used, but no one visits.

Overall, I loved this box. The theme was adorable and the products fit in perfectly. The scents all hit what I would imagine a fairly recently bathed pirate would smell like while still being completely usable.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
