Play! by Sephora - March 2017

What is Play by Sephora?: Play! by Sephora is Sephora's own monthly subscription box! Each month will include five deluxe samples plus a fragrance sample, all coming from the same brands that Sephora carries! Each box also includes a Play Book (tips and tricks) and a Play Pass (a one-on-one tutorial at Sephora and a bonus 50 points with purchase).

How Much is Play by Sephora?: Play by Sephora is $10/month plus your state's sales tax (if a Sephora is in your store). It ships for free but only to the contiguous 48 states.

I'm all about that glow!

The bag design is cute but simple.

Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast ($15.00) - If you follow my personal twitter, you would know I had an issue with this making my hair greasier than it was before and was really cold when it came out, unnecessarily cold. I'm not sure if the formula changed or if my bottle is bad or what, but it didn't make my hair look better.

Chloé (Fleur de Parfum) (Sample) - A fresh, floral and nice perfume. It's a little too flowery for my liking but it's not too strong to wear if I spray it a bit before I actually need to wear it and let it wear off a bit. 

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick (Golden Pink) ($6.00) - I really love this shadow stick. The formula is really nice, it wears well but it does wear off quickly. I mostly love this as an inner corner highlight!

GLAMGLOW GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer (Nude Glow) ($6.92) - I might only ever try GLAMGLOW products in sample sizes, but I'll love them when I get to try them. I love the way this moisturizer makes my face feel but the tint is a little too dark for me. 

Josie Maran Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm ($7.20) - This is supposed to be an anti-aging skin finisher and a makeup primer all in one. I like it as a skin finisher but not as a primer (I need a pore filling one, this one doesn't fill pores). It moisturizes my face without leaving it all greasy and such. I can't validate the anti-aging properties, though, this is too small of a sample to test that.

benefit's Watt's Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter ($7.27) - I really like this highlighter, as long as it's applied with your finger. If you use it as a stick, it budges and smudges your foundation (and everything else on your face). It's a nice champagne/gold shade that works with my skin tone in the Summer (winter me is too pale for this color).

This bag was valued at $42.39, well over the cost of the actual bag. I really liked most of the products and the one that I had a problem with, I honestly think it was a bad bottle and not a formula change. Overall, it was a pretty good bag.
