Jesse's Girl - Amethyst Review

It's time for a new-to-me brand on my blog! I picked up quite a few of this brand from the drugstore (because these are available at Rite Aid) and I can't wait to share them all with you! This is one from their Satin Finish collection, which I was immediately intrigued. I always love polishes that are meant to be matte (or matte-ish)!

Here is Amethyst!

Amethyst is a deep, jewel-toned purple.

Brush macro.

Bottle macro.

Glossy nail macro.

Honestly, I think this polish should always dry glossy. The blue pigments in the violet base sparkle so nicely under a glossy top coat.

Look at the blue goodness and the varying shades of purple, it's so pretty!

Matte nail macro.

Because this is a satin polish straight out of the bottle, this is kinda what you'll end up with. I do have a matte top coat but it does dry on the matte side of satin (meaning it does have a slight sheen to it but not a lot). I'm definitely a bigger fan of this with a glossy top coat!

Formula: Good.
Coats for Opacity: Two coats.
Ease of Dry: Quick.
Texture: None noted.
Finish: Satin.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
