Love with Food - May 2014

This month's Love with Food was my first time with them, and I admit I was on the fence about it. For those that don't know, Love with Food is a monthly food subscription box that has organic or all-natural snacks. There are two sizes, the Tasting Box and the Deluxe Box. The Tasting Box (which is what I get) has 8+ snacks and donates one meal to hungry kids in America (probably my favorite part). It is as low as $10/month and free shipping with a yearly subscription (shipping is $2/box without a yearly subscription. The Deluxe Box has 16-20 snacks and donates two meals to hungry kids in America. It is as low as $17/month with a yearly subscription or $19.95/month if you do it monthly. They have a review program where you get points to use in their store (10 points per item, points for taking boxes, referral program) that is also great. Their store includes items found in boxes as well as other snacks and past boxes.

I love the pink box! It makes my mailbox look happy.

First look. Everything was packed neatly and nothing was broken/damaged.

This month's theme was Derby Days. The card is adorable and reminds me of the Kentucky Derby :)

I love information cards! I also loved the twitter handles for each company, for those that want to follow on twitter. :)

One Potato Two Potato Sweet Potato Chips - These were okay at best. I have never been a huge fan of sweet potatoes in general, so I'm probably not a good judge. My mom loved them, though, so that means it's just me being picky rather than them not being good. This company also has other kinds of non-sweet potato chips, and I'm looking forward to trying them.

Tarallino Snack with Extra Virgin Olive Oil - This is an imported item that tastes great! They're just the right mix of flavors so that they taste good with a good texture. They also only have six ingredients, which is always a good marketing tool in today's age.

J&M Key Lime Cookies - This was definitely my favorite snack in this box. They were sweet and a little tangy, but had the most amazing texture. I expect to find something like this in upscale bakeries rather than in a decently priced subscription box!

Revolution Tea in Honeybush Caramel Herbal Tea, Tropical Green Tea, and Southern Mint Herbal Tea - I HATE hot tea. I'm a terrible judge of teas because of my hatred of them. I'm sure others will like them, which is the reason I didn't waste them and I'm instead giving them to my mom's friends.

Giddy Up & Go Granola - For being gluten free, dairy free, and vegan, this granola was great! I loved it on my yogurt. It was a little sweet and added the perfect amount of crunch to yogurt. I suggest this if you are looking for a good granola.

Flavorz Organic Tropical Peach Drink - This is a liquid that is supposed to be added to water to add flavor. It seemed like too much flavor and didn't taste all that great.

The Spice Lab Salts - Good addition to meats! I would have loved to have more so I could have made more with it.

Le Caramel Sea Salt Caramel - I let my fiance have these, just because he is addicted to caramels. Considering how quickly he scarfed them down, I'm assuming they were great. He usually doesn't like sea salt caramel, but he said they didn't taste like other sea salt caramels and that they were still great.

Once again, this is a great snack box that makes you feel good about getting. If you wish, please feel free to use my referral link and check to see if there are coupons out!!
