Boxycharm - September 2019 Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

This post includes referral links to Boxycharm. If you use my link to sign up, I will get charms in my Boxycharm account. Find out more information here.

What is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box that sends 4-5 full-size beauty products with boxes being valued at $100+. Each month has a theme but it's not followed exactly as much as the spirit of the theme. Shipping has gotten a lot better since my last Boxycharm post, I get my box almost always in the first half of the month (there is a distribution center less than an hour from my house).

How Much is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is $21/month shipped. Currently, Boxycharm is offered to the US, its territories, and Canada.

Oh yes, a palette.

Info card.

Violet Voss Essentials Eyeshadow Palette ($29.00) - Yes, one of my shadows came broken. Because of how difficult Boxycharm has made it to get replacement products, I decided to just repress this and deal with the mess myself. It's a great palette, though, with loads of transition shades and shimmers to add that special pop. It's one of my favorites! I will say that I wish they packaged palettes better as this had the thinnest piece of bubble wrap around it. Care more about your products!

Hank & Henry Blickity Black Eyeliner ($17.00) - I don't use liquid liner, so I didn't keep this.

dr. Brandt Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleep Mask ($52.00) - This is a really nice addition to a skincare routine. I like this packaging more than the updated pot, though, and probably wouldn't purchase it now that it's in the new packaging.

Billion Dollar Brows The Microblade Effect: Brow Pen ($18.00) - Uh, this works but it made a bit of a mess in the beginning. You definitely need to start on the tail of the brow and work your way in, or it will definitely deposit too much product.

Moda 5 PC Brush Kit ($27.95) - It's interesting seeing this brand in so many subscriptions, because I'm so used to seeing it in Walmarts. These are fine brushes and for the cost, I'd definitely purchase more if I ever needed to. I definitely like this set.

Swatches L-R: Violet Voss, Billion Dollar Brows, Hank & Henry.

This box was valued at $143.95. I liked the box pretty well and other than the liquid liner (which come on people, let's stop sending out liquid liners), everything worked.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments below.
