What is Allure Beauty Box?: Allure Beauty Box is a monthly subscription box. Direct from the website info: "Each box includes at least five editor-curated deluxe-size products, with a total value of at least $50. Our editors select a mix of luxury and indie brands for each box. Sometimes we include a bonus product (or two) from a mass brand as a free gift to you." They define deluxe items as anything that you can get three uses out of but they also consider a single face mask a deluxe item.

How Much is Allure Beauty Box?: Allure Beauty Box is $15/month. If you sign up now, the website says you'll get your first box for $5 off.

Another Allure box.

NatureLab Tokyo Perfect Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner ($1.22/ea) - This was a fine shampoo, so much so that I would consider purchasing if I didn't exclusively shop at Target for these kinds of things (because even though Ulta is literally right next to Target, I'm lazy and always at Target). Maybe one day, I'll try this!

Acure Brightening Facial Scrub ($2.50) - This is fine for once and a while. I kept this in my shower to scrub my face weekly, as that seems to be the only way I can remember to do such, and it was okay. Nothing that blew me away, but it worked to get rid of built up dead skin.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder (Translucent) ($23.00) - If you haven't tried this powder yet, you are missing out. It's amazing under the eyes and all over the face, it blends and blurs but doesn't leave you looking like you coated your face in powder.

La-Roche Posay LIpikar Eczema Soothing Relief Cream ($0.37) - The tiniest sample of lotion ever. I don't have eczema anymore and know someone that does, so I gave it to them to try.

Ciate London Dewy Stix Luminous Highlighting Balm (Gleam) ($26.00) - This is a pretty gold, but gold highlight isn't my thing and neither is liquid/cream highlights.

This box was valued at $54.31, but it was a bit of a let down. I expect more than shampoo & conditioner from Allure nowadays, maybe this would have been an acceptable box a few years ago. The revamped box has been doing better and I hope for more in the future.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments below!
