Let's all proceed to sing the song.
Yes, my husband ripped this package open and Hulk'd through the paper. It was pretty funny, actually.
My Afterlife is So Boring (Eyeshadow) is a grayish taupe with a blue sheen and golden sparkles.
I love this shade to just put all over my lid, add a little bit of a mid-toned brown in the crease, and you're out the door. Such an easy shadow to work with.
You Look Like Hell (Eyeshadow) is a sparkly blue with a deep purple base and pink sparkles.
I was a bit sad that this blended out so much, and this is a finger swatch. It builds up some but not to such a vibrant blue as what's in the container.
Same Difference (Eyeshadow) is a dark amethyst with a copper reflex and blue to copper sparkles.
I love me a good purple and this is no different. It's gorgeous smoked out but does blend away easily so it does take some building up or a sticky base.
Gently with a Chainsaw (Eyeshadow) is a golden champagne with purple, pink, and orange sparkles.
This is stunning as an eye or cheek highlight, as an all-over dusting of a sheen, or a halo eye. It's just such a versatile shade that I can't get over.
Grade IQ Lip Tinge (Lip Gloss) is a shiny gloss formulated to give your lips extra sheen and a tinge of color.
This isn't my style of lip gloss. I don't like things in my lipsticks, at least not bigger things, so I passed this along to a friend's kid that loved it.
Swatches in the above order.
Overall, I really liked this month's bag. It had a good variety of shades and could easily be a cohesive look with the purple in the outer crease. With the highlight shade, you really only need a blush and if you like the gloss, you have an entire face of makeup sans foundation/concealer.
As always, let me know what you thought of this month's bag in the comments!
