Walmart Beauty Box - Love My Curls Box Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

So instead of the Walmart Beauty Box subscription, I found quite a few Walmart Beauty Favorites boxes. When walking around the beauty section, I found these bizarre boxes that had been curated based on a theme and thought they'd be something fun and a little different to share. All of the boxes were around the $7-$9 range but I don't remember exactly how much each individual box cost.

The theme for this box is Love My Curls, so it's full of products that will moisturize your hair without weighing down your curls.

I do miss these boxes being a thing. I still look from time to time but admittedly, I haven't been going to Walmart as much as I once did (my local one just isn't that great).

Same box as the others.

Maui Moisture Heal & Hydrate + Shea Butter Shampoo & Conditioner ($1.77/ea) - This is a really good shampoo/conditioner. My hair is both dry and damaged so any extra moisture is always accepted.

TRESemme Hair Mousse Extra Hold ($1.97) - What is a box based around curls if you don't have a mousse in it? I don't typically use mousse but maybe I should when I'm trying to keep my curls both curly and soft/smooth.

Curls Unleashed Shea Butter + Mango Leave-In Conditioner ($4.62) - This is a no-rinse conditioner but I did have to rinse it out because it made my hair look greasier. That's solely because this product is geared toward natural/textured hair.

HASK Coconut Milk & Organic Honey Curl Care Deep Conditioner ($1.17) - This is such a good deep conditioner! It's moisturizing, it smells good, it's just so good. If I ever work through my collection of deep conditioners, this would be one I'd repurchase.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch-Up Hair Creme ($7.47) - I use this more to tame my frizz than anything else. I will put just the tiniest amount on my side baby hairs to keep them laying down and also a tad on my ends to add moisture during the day.

SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen + Restore Leave In Conditioner ($2.99) - This has more of a traditional conditioner formula rather than a thicker leave-in, so that's how I used it. Definitely another product that I'd repurchase, especially for using it when I use a detox shampoo to get rid of products.

SheaMoisture Curly Hair Smoothie ($3.47) - I use this on my ends but if I put it too far up on my strands, it makes me look like a greaseball. It's a good product and smells good, but I don't know if I'll repurchase if I ever work my way through this.

This box was valued at $25.23. Because my hair is so dry, I loved having all of these moisturizing options that also helped my curly hair (when I let it stay natural).

As always, let me know what you thought about this box in the comments!
