Sephora Luxe: Skincare by Age: 50's Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

These used to be called just Play bags that were extras that you could purchase on the Sephora site but now the new ones are actually called Play Smarts and there are quite a few available currently. I love these as they're usually higher end brands, more samples, or bigger samples. Yes, I realize I'm not only paying $10 for samples from Sephora that used to be free, but now I'm paying $15-$20 each bag/box for more samples. It's a problem, I'm dealing with it, but I actually like getting these extra bags because more/different things.

This bag was marketed for those in their 50's, which I am not, but I wanted to share the various options that Sephora has for skincare and to promote that they have realized that they have customers over 30!

Info cards.

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser ($5.07) - It's just your typical cleanser but it smells pretty good and cleanses your face (not your makeup) so it's a hit for me.

Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($10.83) - I've tried this in the past and didn't notice a ton of blurring. I passed this along.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair ($16.00) - This makes me feel so fancy to use, as all EL products do. I don't know that I ever noticed a difference but it didn't do anything negative so, win?

Caudalie Premier Cru Anti-Aging Eye Cream ($39.67) - (Copied from this post.) This is a pretty good under eye cream for moisturizing and keeping my under eye a bit less...dead. Nothing will ever get rid of my dark circles or the slightly 'died three weeks ago but hasn't started decomposing' look I have going on. It's my aesthetic.

Algenist Elevate Advanced Retinol Serum ($16.66) - I try to use Retinols but I'm so wary of them that I either just don't or I use them once a week or so. I do notice a difference, I'm just also scared of messing up my skin again.

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream ($6.00) - This is, unfortunately, one of the better moisturizers I've used. It's unfortunate because it's also one of the most expensive ones I've tried.

This bag was valued at $94.23. I liked the bag and even though everything wasn't for me, I did see the brands that were going to be featured in the bag and had an idea of what would come in.

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
