Ipsy Glam Bag - September 2018 Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Some of the links below are referral links, this means I get points from ipsy if you subscribe using my link. Find out more info here.

What is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy is a monthly subscription that sends 4-5 beauty/makeup products plus a different makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire.

How Much is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy Glam Bag is only $10 per month shipped to the United States or $10 plus shipping ($4.95) to Canada.

There is now a Glam Bag Plus for $25/month. I get that bag (box) in addition my regular one now. My second, regular ipsy is with the profile slightly different to get a variety of products.

Having a brush come in the bag makes me happy.

Uh, interesting bag.

Luxie Beauty 140 Detail Tapered Blending Brush ($8.40) - I always love getting a a brush in my bag, but I have barely reached for this brush in the past year that I've had it. It's meant for highlight but I prefer a fluffier brush for that. I will probably destash it on my next brush destash.

treStique Mini Lip Glaze Crayon (English Rose) ($12.00) - I love getting treStique products so I was excited, and the shade is just red enough to show up on me without being a true red or true pink.

111Skin Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel ($63.33) - Lord have mercy, this is an expensive product. I know bags/boxes like sending high-value items to show you how these products work and the brands want you to buy said products, but I will literally never buy a $190 eye gel. This was good while it lasted but definitely out of my price range.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer ($7.33) - I do enjoy Primerizer during the colder months because it actually does a really good job moisturizing in a pinch. It's a good product for travel if your skin is near the normal range.

Winky Lux Mermaid Kitten Palette (Ursula) ($2.78) - After receiving this single eyeshadow, Winky Lux actually did a pop-up in Atlanta and I happened to be at the mall when it was there, so I bought the full-size Mermaid Kitten Palette. I love their shadows but the full palette wasn't my favorite. This single applied so nicely, though, and it's the perfect size for traveling with a neutral pop for something more interesting without a huge palette. I miss the pop-up, though. That was a fun experience!

Swatches L-R: Winky Lux, treStique.

Overall, this bag was valued at $93.84. It had a good mix and I liked most of the items, but this wasn't one of those absolutely amazing bags that I couldn't live without.

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
