Ipsy Glam Bag (Oily Skin) - September 2018 Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Some of the links below are referral links, this means I get points from ipsy if you subscribe using my link. Find out more info here.

What is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy is a monthly subscription that sends 4-5 beauty/makeup products plus a different makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire.

How Much is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy Glam Bag is only $10 per month shipped to the United States or $10 plus shipping ($4.95) to Canada.

There is now a Glam Bag Plus for $25/month. I get that bag (box) in addition my regular one now. My second, regular ipsy is with the profile slightly different to get a variety of products.

Check out other ipsy reviews here.

Starting with this month, I receive two Ipsy bags. Technically I wanted to start with October with the second bag because of the start of Ipsy Glam Bag Plus, but oh well! This bag is my 'oily skin' bag, meaning it's a different profile than my main bag and was started when my skin had gotten more oily.

Another brush and a product from a brand I can't pronounce.

Still a weird bag.

Botanic Farm Avocado Natural Energy Sheet Mask ($2.00/ea) - I don't know how to give my face energy, but I did find these moisturizing!

The Creme Shop 2-in-1 Facial Foam Cleanser ($2.00) - This is a good cleanser but it's definitely one that doesn't take off your makeup. I like how my face feels after using this and it doesn't dry my face out when I'm in my dry phase.

Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Face Primer ($3.33) - I really don't like this primer, dry or oily skin. I've received it a lot and never became a fan of it.

Doucce Freematic Bronzer (Sunbeam) ($9.50) - I saw/heard so many complain that this is too light and it's funny, because it's the perfect shade to bronze my face. Yay for paleness. The formula is nice and it blends well. It's not super orange but orange enough to actually bronze!

Luxie Beauty Flat Definer 110 ($14.17) - Uh, this is supposed to replace your finger for blending but I've had this for a year and haven't been able to figure out what the purpose of it is, how to use it, or why you would have it.

Swatch of Doucce.

This bag was valued at $33, super low compared to my other bag. Overall, I liked the bag but didn't love it.

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
