JulieG Nail Color - Kickin It Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

JulieG Nail Color is owned by Jesse's Girl Cosmetics, which is now shut down. I purchased this at Rite Aid, which was bought out by Walgreen's. Basically, there's no way to get this polish. Don't worry, it's not that big of a loss.

Kickin' It is a ocean blue frost with a green duochrome.

Brush macro.

Glossy nail macro.

The duochrome is in almost name only. It doesn't show up in pictures (other than under a macro lens) and not in person at all. I had such high hopes for this polish based on the bottle but it just wasn't what I wanted.

For this polish, I used three coats for full opacity. It dried down smooth, without issues, and to a shine.

Matte nail macro.

I don't particularly like this shade with a matte top coat. It just looks like a plain lightly metallic blue polish.

Formula: Good, a little thin.
Coats for Opacity: Three coats.
Ease of Dry: Normal dry.
Texture: None noted.
Finish: Shine.
Removal: Normal removal, no issues noted.
Top Coat Used: Glossy/Matte.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
