Ipsy Glam Bag - August 2018 | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Some of the links below are referral links, this means I get points from ipsy if you subscribe using my link. Find out more info here.

What is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy is a monthly subscription that sends 4-5 beauty/makeup products plus a different makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire.

How Much is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy Glam Bag is only $10 per month shipped to the United States or $10 plus shipping ($4.95) to Canada.

There is now a Glam Bag Plus for $25/month. I get that bag (box) in addition my regular one now. My second, regular ipsy is with the profile slightly different to get a variety of products.

I had to take the picture at this angle so you wouldn't see my face in the reflection of the Ciate product. One day, I'll have a professional setup. That day was not when this bag came and it's still not today.

The bag is cute, bright and fun, but definitely not my style, and a few threads that broke off in the middle of the bag. I do like the tassle, though!

Ciate Glow-To Highlighter (Moondust) ($8.70) - OMG, such a pretty highlighter! It's easily built up for a super powerful highlight (or on the eye) but it's a stunning wash of highlight as well! Super hit!

Pixi by Petra Fresh Face Blush (Beach Rose) ($8.00) - Oh yes, this is such a perfect blush shade for me. It's not too red or pink, not too brown, and not too orange/coral. The formula is smooth and buttery and blends out nicely!

Bang Beauty Eyeshadow Quad (Smokey) ($18.00) - So much money for such a tiny quad. When four shadows are the same size collectively as a blush or highlight, it shouldn't cost this much. The shades also aren't a cohesive look and they aren't the easiest to blend. I expected more considering how much I love my blush from Bang Beauty.

Lab for You Juice Up Sheet Masks (Kale and Blackberry) ($3.60) - I liked both of these. The kale one is for minimizing redness and the blackberry

Answer From Black Volume Gold Radiance Cream ($5.23) - I spent so much time trying to figure out what this brand was, if this item was still available, etc. Apparently the brand has changed their name shortly after being put into this box and Reddit saved me when it came to figuring this out. All of that work for a product that I didn't notice anything from. I've started marking these with 1-star reviews in hopes I won't receive them anymore.

Swatches L-R: Bang Beauty, Ciate, Pixi by Petra.

I lost the product round-up photo that I took, whoops. The bag was valued at $43.53, which was really a shock considering how small the bag felt when it first came in. I fell in love with the blush and the highlight so that made it an instant win.

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
