Ipsy Glam Bag - July 2018 | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Some of the links below are referral links, this means I get points from ipsy if you subscribe using my link. Find out more info here.

What is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy is a monthly subscription that sends 4-5 beauty/makeup products plus a different makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire.

How Much is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy Glam Bag is only $12 (this recently went up) per month shipped to the United States or $10 plus shipping ($4.95) to Canada.

There is now a Glam Bag Plus for $25/month. I get that bag (box) in addition my regular one now. My second, regular ipsy is with the profile slightly different to get a variety of products. They also just started Glam Bag Ultimate for $50 which I will not be getting unless Ipsy sponsors me (LOLOL).

So many cute things!

This bag is super holographic. Again, I would keep these bags if they weren't so small. I do pass them along to people that will use them.

BKR The Water Balm ($11.17) - I admit, I had zero clue what this was when I first got it and had never heard of the water bottle with the balm in it, I just thought this was a good lip balm. Now, I have a strange urge to find a spiked bottle with a lip balm on the top.

Smashbox Cosmetics Always On Liquid Lipstick (Stepping Out) ($5.40) - I do love the applicator of Smashbox's Alwasy On lipsticks, it has this nice well that holds a really good amount of product and disperses it well. This shade is also pretty spot on for me, described as 'deep nude,' which I disagree with. It's a good neutral for me, so definitely not 'deep.'

Ittse Matte Shadow (Changing to Flats) ($9.00) - Okay, I really wanted to like this eye shadow, and I do...with some work. It's not the most pigmented matte I've ever tried, but it will build up a bit with some work. I kept this (partly because I have no one to declutter a single shadow to, partly because I want to make this work) and it's in one of my magnetic pans.

Sugar Cosmetics Stroke of Genius Heavy Duty Kohl (02 Purple Rain) ($13.99) - Oh, yes, thank you Ipsy. It's not a black eyeliner, it's purple! I never wear black liners but I'm all about a purple, blue, green, or gold liner.

IBY Beauty (Eyeshadow Fluff Brush) ($8.00) - This is a good brush. If you were adding to your collection of brushes, not brand new but you've gotten past that a bit and wanted something a bit nicer without spending $25 on a brush, this brand is perfect for that. They do what they're supposed to do, they last through washes, etc!

Swatches top to bottom: Smashbox, Sugar Cosmetics, Ittse.

This bag was valued at $47.56, which is really good for the cost! I also really liked everything in the bag and would give this a 5/5! There was nothing that disappointed me and everything seemed to fit in my quiz details!

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
