Boxycharm - July 2018 | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

This post includes referral links to Boxycharm. If you use my link to sign up, I will get charms in my Boxycharm account. Find out more information here.

What is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box that sends 4-5 full-size beauty products with boxes being valued at $100+. Each month has a theme but it's not followed exactly as much as the spirit of the theme. Shipping has gotten a lot better since my last Boxycharm post, I get my box almost always in the first half of the month (there is a distribution center less than an hour from my house).

How Much is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is $21/month shipped. Currently, Boxycharm is offered to the US, its territories, and Canada.

If you sign up for Boxycharm Luxe, four times a year you will get a different box that costs an additional $28.99 on top of the $21. You will not get a 'regular' Boxycharm that month and there's currently no way to get both the regular and the Luxe during the Luxe months without having two subscriptions at once. Until you can get both without dealing with two subscriptions, I will stay with the 'regular' one.

Another month with a palette!

Info card.

Crown Brush Pro 10 Color Fuego Eye Shadow Palette ($9.99) - Where's the clap emoji, because I am here for this palette. It's not some spectacular palette, but for the price, it's really good. Some of the mattes need to be worked with a bit but the shimmers are shockingly good.

Note Cosmetics Luminous Silk Compact Blusher (Desert Rose) ($11.99) - So, this is a blush that I like, not love. There's nothing wrong with it but it's a smidge too dark for me for most of my life. It worked last Summer when I was ever so slightly darker, but it was decluttered once I paled back down.

Farmacy Beauty Bright On Mask ($38.00) - Ooh, this is such a good mask. It left my skin feeling smooth, hydrated, etc. I still don't know what brightening masks are supposed to do, but it's still a hit in my book.

Wander Beauty Unleashed Volume and Curl Mascara ($24.00) - I liked this mascara but I just have so many mascaras that I knew my mom would love this...and she did! It adds volume, make your lashes curly, it does what it says!

Chella Beauty Eyebrow Cream (Tantalizing Taupe) ($26.00) - Holy yikes on a color match. There are five possible shades and none of them would work for me. They sent me the taupe shade, which would have worked if it were a smidge darker. The next darkest shade is way too warm, so there's no good shade match for me. Also, looking at the shade options, I don't see anything for those that have blonde eyebrows. Yikes. To speak on the product itself: it's actually really nice and does a good job filling in the hairs, not if you like actual hair stroke brows but instead just filled in, which is what I like.

That was a lot of words about a brow product.

Swatches left to right: Crown Beauty, Note Cosmetics.

This box was valued at $109.98, which is just at the value line for Boxycharm. I enjoyed this box and the palette was the biggest hit for me, funny considering this is the least expensive item in the box.

As always, let me know what you thought about this box in the comments!
