Chirality Nail Polish - The Serum Review | May 2019 Polish Pickup | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

I received this polish in exchange for a review. Find out more information here.

Polish Pickup is a monthly polish shopping extravaganza! Each month, there's a new theme (voted on by group members) and makers individually decide if they want to participate and create their own polish to meet the theme. This month, the store is open from 5/3-5/6, and you can buy as many or as few polishes as you want. The shipping is $3.00 total (US) (there's a $5 flat rate for Canada), no matter how many polishes you get, and they combine shipping if you make more than one order during the weekend!

Hey, y'all! It's time for Polish Pickup and I have a polish from this month's sale to share with you! This is The Serum, inspired by Re-Animator! There is a cap on this one, 100, so don't miss out on it.

Chriality's info:

The Serum is a neon chartreuse yellow polish with a reanimated purple shimmer, purple micro flakies, and holo microglitters. Opaque in 2-3 coats.

Brush macro.

Bottle macro.

Glossy nail macro.

This is such a fun and bright polish, perfect for going into Summer. (It already is Summer here, yay for Georgia.) I'm loving the shimmer and flakies and love how they look against the base.

The application was super easy. It dried down smoothly and to a satin/shine and I used three coats but it wasn't fully opaque. This is partially due to my free edge being a little white. I'd still use an undie

Matte nail macro.

Even a matte top coat can't stop this contrasting shimmer!

Formula: Very good.
Coats for Opacity: Three coats used, not fully opaque.
Ease of Dry: Quick dry.
Texture: None noted.
Finish: Satin/shine.
Removal: Normal removal, no issues noted.
Top Coat Used: Glossy/Matte.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
