Target Beauty Box - April 2018 | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

What is Target Beauty Box?:
Target releases a Beauty Box every so often. It has now become a sporadic event, so make sure you subscribe to my email updates to know when the next one comes out! The boxes can be seen prior to purchase, and they are curated 100% with products sold at Target so you can get the products you love.

How Much is Target Beauty Box?: The price has been anywhere from $5-$10, but you get free shipping with your Beauty Box purchase only if you have a RedCard. You will have to pay taxes if there is a Target in your state. Every box comes with a coupon for a Target purchase, which definitely makes it worth the money!

This box was $7.

Some of these products became instant hits for me.

I loved this box...except for the corner that USPS ate.

Nourish Organic Face Lotion ($6.47) - Face lotion sounds so...'it rubs the lotion on its skin.' I don't like rose scented things very much so this was a pass. If the scent has been better, I would have been all over it. It's green, clean, all of the things necessary if you're looking for a moisturizer and you like rose things.

Weleda Skin Food ($1.40) - Skin Food is a little weird but not as weird as Face Lotion. This is a good moisturizer but it was such a small container that I didn't get to see if there were any long-term effects from using it.

Schmidt's Rose + Vanilla Deodorant ($1.24) - I'm actually working on a natural deodorant post series so I'll leave that review for there. I will say that if you sweat a lot and don't want to sweat, most natural deodorants aren't for you.

Shea Moisture Clarifying Mud Mask ($1.99) - Not a chance in heck would I use this. My skin would be a desert.

Love, Beauty & Planet Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner ($1.99 each) - I have a small collection of LBP shampoo/conditioners that I'm slowly working through. At first, I was keeping them for travel, until I realized I'll never travel enough to work through all of them. This is good, no great, and smells nice. I don't really need a lot of volume but this doesn't give me 80's hair so it's all good.

Method Simply Nourish Body Wash ($1.32) - After using this, I ended up buying the big daddy of this and I'm still using it. It's so good. It moisturizes, it smells amazing, it's a win for me.

This box was valued at $16.40, well over what I paid for it, and I ended up loving quite a few of the products. I love these types of boxes because they're so well-rounded and they are filled with solid products. Boxes don't have to be the most highly valued if they have great products, in my opinion.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
