Barkbox - April 2018 | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Links below are referral links. This means if you click my link and make a purchase of Barkbox, I will get a free box in return. Find out more info here.

What is BarkBox?: BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for your favorite pupper. Each box includes five items, two toys, two bags of treats, and a chew. You tell them the size of your pupper and how you want to pay, and then you decide if you want to spend an extra $9/box for an extra toy! It's divided into three sizes, so Trumpet fits nicely in the middle category as 'Just Right.'

How Much is BarkBox?: If you want no commitments, cancel anytime, the box is $29/month. A three-month commitment brings it down to $25/month. Six months is $23/month (billed up-front as $138) and a one-year commitment is $20/month but you get to pay monthly! You get free shipping anywhere in the US and Canada, but there is sales tax applied to certain states.

Arrrr, it's Barrrrrkbox Day! I legit squeed when I saw this box come in because...

This box was just too cute.

I tried to get the boys to wear the bandana but now that there are two, the one not wearing it wants to take the clothes off of the one that is wearing it. It's a mess.

Backstrap Chews ($4.00) - This is meant to be a teeth cleaner chew and because this came in PM (Pre-Murphy), I was able to give it to Trumpet and he enjoyed it! (Murphy is allergic to beef.)

BarkBeard's Bandana ($8.00) - This is cute but like I mentioned above, the boys like to take clothes off of each other.

Captain Woof ($10.00) - I legit LOLd at the name of this, and his poor face is too cute for words. This is one of the toys that I would have loved to keep pristine but the boys did not allow that. The beard was a huge hit in this house because Murphy loves to tear the hair fuzz out.

Scurvy Jack the Seagull ($10.00) - This poor little man's legs were rope-like and that means Murphy took him into his possession. If you're getting the idea that Murphy steals all of the toys, you've come to the correct assumption.

Pirate's Jewels ($5.00) - These are soft treats, meaning Trumpet and Murphy loved them. They didn't smell bad or super dog treat-y. Hit.

Ahoy Meaty ($5.00) - These, on the other hand, did smell just like a dog treat. They are meaty and made with meat so that's to be expected. Trumpet was a gentleman taking this from me, Murphy....wasn't.

This box was valued at $42 and it was a total hit in my eyes. I love pirate things (thank you, Pirates of the Caribbean) and this theme could occur yearly and I'd be just as happy.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
