Boxycharm - March 2018 | Frankly Kiersten Reviews
What is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box that sends 4-5 full-size beauty products with boxes being valued at $100+. Each month has a theme but it's not followed exactly as much as the spirit of the theme. Shipping has gotten a lot better since my last Boxycharm post, I get my box almost always in the first half of the month (there is a distribution center less than an hour from my house).
How Much is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is $21/month shipped. Currently, Boxycharm is offered to the US, its territories, and Canada.
If you sign up for Boxycharm Luxe, four times a year you will get a different box that costs an additional $28.99 on top of the $21. You will not get a 'regular' Boxycharm that month and there's currently no way to get both the regular and the Luxe during the Luxe months without having two subscriptions at once. Until you can get both without dealing with two subscriptions, I will stay with the 'regular' one.
A palette and brushes!

Bellapierre Cosmetics Volumizing Mascara ($20.00) - If you've been here for a while, you know that I love volumizing mascaras. This one was a solid seven. Nothing super special but it did more than just coat my lashes. The price has now changed to $35 so while I liked it at $20, I don't think it's worth the new price tag.
The Vintage Cosmetics Company Smokey Eye Makeup Brush Set ($23.15/$16.50) - The card says this is a $23 brush set based on the UK value but the US site has it listed at $16.50. At both prices, I find the brush set to be worth it. These are great, pick up and distribute pigment easily, are super soft, etc. My only complaint is that they are cream bristles and therefore one is permanently stained pink.
Pretty Vulgar Make Them Blush (Prim Vixen/Bright Pink) ($26.00) - So many of these shades would have been perfect. This one, though, is just too much. I got serious clown vibes when I put it on. The formula is spot on, blends out easily without disappearing, etc. I just need an option for no pink blushes.

Pür Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette ($36.00) - This is a really good starter palette. If you need something that you can do a ton of looks with and is of pretty good quality, this is it. I swatched it below and the mattes performed about as well as can be expected, especially for the price. I did pass this along partly because I have the shades that I would wear in another palette and partly because I decluttered quite a few palettes after realizing I had too many to fit in my drawers.

South Mane Under Eye Gels ($10.00) - These are legit if you are dehydrated or just had a bad night's sleep and you need to sooth your under eyes. These work best when they've refrigerated for a while before use. While they aren't amazingly special, they do the job and do it well.
This box was valued at $115.15, just over the $100 guarantee. It was overall a pretty well-rounded box but I just got meh vibes.
As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
