Play! Smarts by Sephora - Glitter Eyes for Real Life | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

This is yet another Play! Smarts by Sephora (and I think this is the first official Play! Smarts that they put out). This came out some time last year and I believe it was $20. Because these are one-offs that disappear, I can't find it in my past purchases to 100% confirm.

Glittery bag...yay or nay?

I thought this bag would be cute, but it's a disaster. Sequins everywhere, it was a mess.

Info cards.

OleHenriksen Banana Bright Eye Creme ($7.60) - This is a really good eye cream. I did find it to help with the darkness around my eyes. I would definitely repurchase if I ever ran out of other eye creams and if maybe this isn't as expensive as it is.

Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil (Black Lace) ($4.25) - Yet another black eyeliner. Pass.

Bite Beauty Prismatic Pearl Multistick (Rose Pearl) ($9.88) - This is pretty but a little chunky. It's described as a metallic rose wtih green and violet shimmer. I couldn't figure out a way I could use this without it transferring on my eyes and it was just a mess on me. Pass.

Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow (Kitten Karma) ($4.80) - This is gorgeous on your eyes, but be careful if you have any sort of hooded eyes. Also, make sure you let it dry for a while before opening your eyes because, transferrence!

Benefit Cosmetics BADGal Bang! Volumizing Mascara ($8.82) - Oh yes, finally a volumizing mascara. This is really nice for someone like me that doesn't want/need length but wants just more volume. This mascara does a good job at that.

Grande Cosmetics GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum ($29.10) - Lord, no. I don't need my lashes getting enhanced any. I passed this specifically to my mom.

Swatches top to bottom: Sephora Collection, stila, Bite Beauty.

This bag was valued at $64.45, well over the cost. I did like a few items from the bag, even the ones that didn't work necessarily for me. Overall, I think this bag met the theme while not being all highlight all the time.

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
