Night Owl Lacquer - Banshee Scream Review | October 2017 Polish Pickup | Swatch My Stash

Hey, y'all! I've been so bad about sharing newer brands (both to me and to the world) on my blog. I have quite a few polishes from Night Owl Lacquer and while there have been/will be so many new releases on here, I'm still going through my crazy backlog of polishes I've purchased and swatched. This polish is from Polish Pickup last year where the theme was Monsters and Mythical Creatures (one of my faves!).

Let's get to the polish!

Banshee Scream is a black tinted linear holographic with a green/blue/purple chameleon shift, midnight sparkle flakies and lots of ultra chrome chameleon flakies in cyan/violet and jade/blue/purple.

Brush macro.

Glossy nail macro.

All of the shift in this polish amazes me. If you don't believe me based on my pictures, head over to my friend's post where she has a crap ton of pictures that just make me drool!

The application was super easy. I used two coats and it was smooth, even with how packed the polish is with flakies!

Matte nail macro.

I don't think a matte top coat does this polish justice. I think a glossy top coat just adds to the beauty. There's a glow with the matte top coat but the shift just doesn't show as well.

Formula: Very good.
Coats Used: Two coats.
Ease of Dry: Normal.
Texture: None noted.
Finish: Shine.
Removal: No issues.
Top Coat Used: Glossy/Matte.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
