What is 'me time?' My me time is in the mornings after my husband has gone to work and before Trumpet has really gotten up. He sleeps in our bed so the first part of my day is trying to find a place to relax. For being such a small pup, he really can take up some room in a bed. My 'Me Time' is me relaxing on my bed with a hair mask in, face mask on, and my iPhone playing whatever Podcast I am currently listening to.

I have very dry skin and hair so I focus a lot of my pampering time making sure I am moisturizing. I get so many hair and face mask samples (and I buy more sheet masks than any one human could ever use) so I'm always trying out new ones, the perfect excuse to have frequent Me Times!

Not pictured is my shower cap that I use so I don't get my hair mask everywhere, but that's always in the shower so I don't lose it.

Most of my masks have a 15-20 minute timer, so I take that time to not really think about things (that's a lot harder than I'd like to admit). This means I have a guaranteed 20 minutes of peace (or almost peace, Trumpet does occasionally kick me) where I can just chill. Afterward, I just hop in the shower so I can easily wash off the masks and shower. Currently, I'm using the Yardley Oatmeal & Almond soap because it's specifically meant for dry skin. I currently use a puff (is that just what I call them or does everyone?) and just lather up the soap to wash. This particular soap does have oatmeal in it so there's some exfoliation that occurs.
