Literary Lacquers - Menolly Rosabelle D'Artigo Review | Swatch My Stash
Happy Thursday! We're still having a stormy week, which means puppy is suuuuuper unhappy. Luckily, he has a place to hide upstairs with me (and sometimes I go to the spare room to snuggle with him). The sporadic storms also aren't doing anything good for my hair or my ability to walk Trumpet (neither of us do rain).
Today I have an oldie from Literary Lacquers for y'all! Her shop is open but this polish isn't currently available.
Menolly Rosabelle D'Artigo is a silvery blue scattered holographic.
Brush macro.
Bottle macro.
Glossy nail macro.
I love how the silvery blue base makes the holographic shine, but not too much of a shine. Like the two parts play together equally. Because it's almost metallic, I worried about brush stroke marks but luckily this didn't occur.
I tried to play with lighting angles to show the blue tone that this polish does have in less lit areas.
Matte nail macro.
Matte, this is just a really icy blue polish. I actually really like it, this would be a good base for a winter nail art manicure.
Formula: Good, a little think.
Coats for Opacity: Three thicker coats.
Ease of Dry: Quick dry.
Texture: None noted.
As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
