Literary Lacquers - Curiouser and Curiouser! Review

Hi, everyone! This is the review for one of the polishes from the Alice in Lacquerland collection by Literary Lacquers. If you're looking for the home post for this collection, click here! This collection was inspired by Alice in Wonderland (obviously) and has six total polishes plus the GWP one.

For a reminder on the details, the collection drops at noon MT on December 26th and if you make a $48 purchase between then and January 5th, you will receive the Gift with Purchase polish!

Now, Curiouser and Curiouser!

Curiouser and Curiouser is a medium blue glitter holo, a little icy.

Brush macro.

Bottle macro.

Glossy nail macro.

When I first read 'icy,' I was super curious. I was thinking like the late 90's and early 2000's crazy icy-cool...everything! This is less like that and more just a cool blue sheen where the light hits.

The glitters are the perfect size where you can see them but they don't completely overtake the blue base. The base is almost metallic in the way it dries, it's bizarre!

Matte nail macro.

I'm not really a fan of Curiouser and Curiouser! with a matte top coat. The base loses the 'icy' goodness and the polish looks less extraordinary.

Formula: Good, slightly on the thick side.
Coats for Opacity: Two coats.
Ease of Dry: Normal.
Texture: Slight texture.
Finish: Shine.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
