Literary Lacquers - Be What You Would Seem to Be Review

Hi, everyone! This is the review for one of the polishes from the Alice in Lacquerland collection by Literary Lacquers. If you're looking for the home post for this collection, click here! This collection was inspired by Alice in Wonderland (obviously) and has six total polishes plus the GWP one.

For a reminder on the details, the collection drops at noon MT on December 26th and if you make a $48 purchase between then and January 5th, you will receive the Gift with Purchase polish - this polish!!

Now, Be What You Would Seem to Be (the GWP polish).

Be What You Would Seem to Be is a soft medium purple glitter holo.

Glossy nail macro.

This is such a gorgeous almost neon purple. It pops under all lighting and the holographic glitters just add to the POP. I don't have a black light but I'd be very interested in seeing what this polish does under one!

I really love this base color. It reminds me so much of my favorite highlighter in college. The perfect mix of pink and purple and I want to wear this on my nails constantly!

Matte nail macro.

I definitely like this polish with a matte top coat. The glitters pop more and the polish looks slightly more purple (in person, not just in this picture), which I love! The glitters leaned more blue in this picture and I found that was true in real life as well.

Formula: Very good.
Coats for Opacity: Two coats.
Ease of Dry: Quick.
Texture: Some texture, possibly from flakies not laying completely flat.
Finish: Shine.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
