Fortune Cookie Soap Of the Month - March 2017 (Household Handbook Box)

What is Fortune Cookie Soap's FCS of the Month Box?: Fortune Cookie Soap of the Month is Fortune Cookie Soap's monthly box to get your monthly fix of FCS products. It launched at the beginning of the year and has had some amazing themes so far. Each month's box has a different theme (hair, body, face, feet, etc.) and will have a mix of past, present, and new scents/products along with at least one brand new product. You can skip any months you want to so it's the perfect subscription if you want specific items or only want a few boxes a year.

How Much is Fortune Cookie Soap's FCS of the Month Box?: FCS of the Month is $28.00 plus shipping ($6.95 for the US). Use code 'Firstfcsbox' to save $6.95 off of your first box.

Yes, you do see something called 'Unicorn Farts' in this box.

Info book.

Laundry Soap (Almost Alice) ($11.99) - I really was interested in trying this but I read a lot of articles saying these kinds of homemade laundry detergents can mess up HE washing machines. It does smell really nice but I was honestly too afraid to use it and mess up my washing machine!

Hand Poured Soy Candle (PJP) ($12.99) - A perfect fruity soy candle, with a mix of citrus and berry scents. It's sweet and fruity at the same time and I really enjoy it. I wouldn't pay $13 for the candle, but I enjoyed it being in this box.

Carpet Deodorizer (Raggedy Man) ($8.99) - This is a really cool item...for someone that has carpet. It smelled really nice but again, useless if your house is entirely hardwood.

Personal Space (Once a Beach) ($8.99) - Personal Space is a room freshening spray, which sounds really awesome, and it would be really awesome if the scent was better. It's very ocean-y, like you should expect to hear seagulls any second. If it had been a better scent, I would have kept it!

Foaming Hand Soap (Unicorn Farts) ($6.99) - If nothing else, isn't the name amazing? It smells like cotton candy goodness and foams up, a double win! It's quite moisturizing as well and it's lasted quite a while, which surprised me!

It's a Doodie! Toilet Spray (Prince Valium) ($9.99) - I really tried to get buy-in at this house but no one else was interested. It's also not the easiest thing to remember to use, so it ended up being given to someone who can remember to use it.

Pillow Spray (Moon Door) ($9.99) - This smells of lavender, the perfect scent to help you fall asleep. I'm not sure if it actually helps me fall asleep or if it's the placebo effect. I like it regardless!

This box's value was $69.93, well over the cost of the box. I enjoyed a portion of the box but I'm also certain if I had seen the theme of this box before it was charged, I would have skipped it. I'm really particular about household products so it's hard to have something sent to me and my love it.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
