Glamour Doll Eyes OTM - January 2016

What is Glamour Doll Eyes?: Glamour Doll Eyes before, it's a wonderful indie brand that makes all kinds of makeup products. It includes full sized products as well as a product through Try More Indie from another indie brand and a coupon code (sometimes private, sometimes shareable) for an indie! There is also *sometimes* freebies from GDE. GDE OTM is currently not accepting any more for the waitlist for 2015, but there will be one for 2016 in the Facebook Group!

How Much Is Glamour Doll Eyes?: $11/month ($18 in Canada and $22 elsewhere).

I few changes have been made for the 2016 subscription. There is no more Try More Indie (the coupons for other indie companies that were included) and there isn't going to be the charms anymore. I actually looked into how much those little charms cost and it definitely adds up, so I understand! The price also did go up due to USPS raising their shipping rates.

First bag for 2016, and it's amazing! I'll always take a purple bag, but I'm starting to wonder what I'm going to do with all of bags now that I have over a year's worth. If there's any thoughts on it, they're appreciated!

Info card. Everything is on one side now, which is super convenient.

Not a Prize - A dusty dark purple with a subtle silvery red sheen topped off with red, pink, blue, and purple sparkles.
This is an absolutely gorgeous shadow. It's a lovely shade of purple, but I don't see the dark purple in it. The silver sheen is definitely apparent and I love that it reflects light so nicely.

Desert Prince - Highlighter/Bronzer. A glowy bronze with a light bronze and pink shine.
This is no where near a highlighter or a bronzer for me, It's far too dark for a highlighter or a bronzer, but that means it's the most amazing bronze eye shadow! It applied perfectly.

Extras included candy (husband nommed on and loved immediately) as well as two remixed shadows (shadows that had previously come out in the permanent line but were discontinued and then remixed into something better), and a lipstick from Spectrum Cosmetics.

Shining Shimmering Lipstick - A raspberry wine shade with a bit of gold sparkle.
Now that I've finally started getting and wearing lipsticks in the bold lips trend, I'm finding so many more colors to try out! I always felt like they made me look super washed out because of my pale skin and dark hair, but now I'm embracing it! Spectrum Cosmetics is an amazing company with tons of greatness, so I'm super pleased with this extra.

Overall, the first bag of 2016 from Glamour Doll Eyes was definitely a hit. Four different shadows plus a great extra from another company is more than worth it. Even with the price going up slightly for the US, I still feel like it's worth the cost! Make sure to check past bags here if you want to see what all you have missed so far.

If you want to join the wait list for Glamour Doll Eye's OTM, make sure to join the Facebook Group to see where you are on the list!

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
