Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabinet - March 2015

The Vanishing Cabinet by Notoriously Morbid is an indie subscription that is totally new to me. I found it through another subscription and decided I HAD to have it. For only $12.90/month, I got all of this below!

The theme this month is Game of Thrones, which I don't watch but I am currently reading the books, so I understand it some. :)

I love how everything is labeled, so I can easily find what I'm looking for without searching throughout my ever-growing collection.

Fire Bright - Metallic red with gold, purple, and blue shimmers with a silver sheen.
Without flash this is a deeper red. As soon as the light hits, it goes crazy with a colorful shimmer.

Fates Unfold - Plum shadow with a strong green shift.
This is the most surprising shadow I've ever seen. It's definitely something between a purple and a green, and so pretty for any skin tone.

Lover's Sigh - Almost a matte purple with just the slightest shimmer.
I had so hoped this would be completely matte, I know some people that are definitely looking for a matte lavender.

Stern & Strung - Grey base with a purple shimmer.
This is a great grey without being a plain grey, and it's one that can be used for all sorts of looks.

With Sword & Shield - Is it pewter or gold? I'll never know.
This one is another with a great color shift. It looks gold and pewter at the exact same time, and I honestly love how it looks on me.

Gift of Life - The perfect highlighter, white with golden shimmers.
It really is the perfect highlighter. It's great on so many skin tones and that's saying something for it to actually highlight on me.

Kingslayer (by Geek Chic Cosmetics) - A pearly white cloak of the Kingsguard which shines copper and golden in the light.
I love this shade as well, it's another good highlighter color, and I love that they sent a sample out from another company. With all of that being said, why send two highlighters in the same month? It's a gorgeous shade and it has its differences from the NM one, but it's still too much.

Replacement Crush Kisser (Dear Diary) - Last month's Crush Kisser had some problems with the taste and a scent added to it, so they made sure to replace it this month!

Swatches for main colors.

Swatches for highlighters. First two are the NM color to show differences between light and heavy application.

I still love Notoriously Morbid's Vanishing Cabinet! I love how there are themes that are fun and that they are able to make all of the colors fit so well together. There will not be a VC for April, as they are prepping for a new website and the next month's sub. I'm so looking forward to May, and especially considering the OUAT theme!
