Ipsy Glam Bag - January 2015

Ipsy is a monthly subscription priced at $10/month that sends 4-5 products plus a different (mini) makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points for referring people to joining. Those points can also be earned for sharing your bag on Facebook and reviewing the products you receive. The nice part is they offer online coupons for most of their monthly items and you can get the coupons for all offered products in all bags that month, just not yours. They have updated the rewards you get for using points and now will offer rewards for 500, 1000, and 1500 points. They still are terrible about updating what is offered and currently, not too much is in stock. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire.

Both sides of the bag. I definitely am not a fan of it, because the zipper is way small and things don't fit in it very well.

Hey Honey Take it Off ($7.00) - It's another mask, so it's nothing too terribly special. I am still waiting until it's a little more moist outside before I start using masks again.

MALIN + GOETZ Mojito Lip Balm ($6.86) - This stuff is amazing. I have heard pretty good things about it but it did a great job moisturizing my lips. I want a full size of this as soon as I run out!

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer ($9.71) - This primer was a good, handy one when I couldn't find my regular. It is small enough to fit in my makeup bag and it kept some loose powder eyeshadow on pretty well.

Pacifica Natural Mineral Eye Shadow (Ethereal) ($5?) - I cannot find this shade in any palette, so I'm guessing on the value of this. You cannot normally buy Pacifica shadows individually, so I'm not quite sure on that. It's huge for a single shadow, and it's a great color for highlighting your eye or to have a shimmery look that you can use on it's own.

Coastal Scents Liquid Eye Liner (Jet) ($2.95) - I don't do liquid liners, so this instantly went in the trade pile. It's nothing against one brand in particular, I just don't like thick liner and I usually smudge or use wet eyeshadow as liner. I might like it more if it had been a different color, but black is just far too much.

Overall, my bag is worth approximately $31.52, which is a pretty good value. Once again, I don't know exactly what the Pacifica shadow is worth, so it's a guess! Did you get Ipsy this month? What did you think about it? Let me know in the comments!
