What Is It?: Loot Crate is a monthly gaming and geek subscription box that sends 6-8 items each month that caters to a theme of some sort. They don't do spoilers except for what the theme is, which kills me! It was nice to open a true surprise, though.

The theme this month is Heroes and included all sorts of heroes and hero-type things based on all of the hero movies from this summer!
First look. Everything was packed tightly in there, and there's my Groot! This made me ridiculously happy.
The inside of the box was modeled after the hangout from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! I was in love with that movie when the cartoon-esque one came out years ago, but I'm waiting for the new one to come out on Redbox to see it. I love that the box is decorated, though!
POP! Groot Exclusive (~$20.00) - I know these retail at local stores for $20.00, so I am assuming this would be the same if it hadn't been a Loot Crate Exclusive. Even cooler than this being exclusive is that the arms glow in the dark! This is a great collectible and I already love the POP bobbleheads!
Schwings Shoe Lightning Bolts ($6.99) - I'm not quite sure what will be done with these, but they would make for part of a great Halloween costume for someone! They are super adorable and totally fit in with the box.
H2W TMNT Mask Glasses ($12.99) - These are adorable, and luckily they fit my face...barely. I could see wearing them as part of a TMNT costume, which I can completely get behind!
kidrobot TMNT Full Figurine ($9.99) - Someone (my fiance) wasn't very happy that he got Donatello, he preferred Raphael, but he still likes it and it will go on top of his desk for his collectible! This glows as well, but I haven't seen it glow yet. Either way, who doesn't love TMNT?!
Epic Scents Mega Man Air Freshener ($~3) - I have not clue about how much this would cost in stores, but I'm guessing about $3 compared to other air fresheners at the store. And it's Mega Man, which is awesome!
Loot Crate Heroes Magazine, Magnet, and Button. These are extras that are included in boxes each month, and I love it! They are cute little extras that are great for kids or grown-up kids!
This box is worth approximately $52.97, which is way more than the cost of the box! I think it's worth the money just to send my fiance and myself back into our childhoods for a little while and play! Did anyone else get Heroes Loot Crate this month?
