Ipsy/Birchbox Spoilers!
This month, Ipsy once again allowed subscribers to see their bags early if they shared to Facebook, so of course I was all over that! It was nice, but it always makes me more anxious because I'm having to wait even longer to get the stuff I spoil myself with. I'm still waiting for shipping information, but it seems like Ipsy has been taking longer and longer each month.
On the other hand, my Birchbox said my box shipped on the 3rd, but didn't update my box until the 10th. It has currently bounced all around the Eastern Coast without making it to Georgia yet, which bugs me because they are created approximately 3 hours from my PO. Luckily, there's nothing in here that I'm dying over so I'm being more patient with it.
Included this month are: Crown Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush, Briogeo Don't Despair Deep Conditioning Mask, Cailyn Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss, LeeAnni Eco 3-in-1 Revolution Light, and Pacifica 7 Free Polish. The Crown Brush, I'm very excited over. I've received another brush of theirs and I loved it. I have more eye brushes than I can count, but I still always can use more, and especially duet brushes! With the Briogeo, I have never heard of them so I'm not sure what to expect from it, so no true thoughts at the moment. We've received Cailyn before in Ipsy, and it was good (except the mold thing), so hopefully this comes in a great color! The last one I received was neon pink, so it got traded quickly. I've also never heard of the LeeAnni Eco, but after looking up this product, it seems like they are sending it out a little late. This is supposed to be good for normal to oily skin (GREAT!) to be used during warmer months (FAIL!). I know I live in Georgia, but it's still starting to cool off, so this would have been better a few months ago. The Pacifica Nail Polish is the product I was least excited about. I was hoping for the eyeliner, so I was lucky to find an amazing girl that is trading me as soon as both of our bags come in!
In Birchbox, I'm receiving Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel, Harvey Prince Ageless Liquid Loofah, TEMPTU S/B Highlighter, Acure Organics Day Cream Gotu Kola Stem Cell, and Macadamia Professional Healing Oil Spray. I just have to say that everyone on Facebook seems to say that I received an amazing box, but I'm not all that impressed by it. The Real Chemistry has been popping up in boxes for a couple of months now, but I have never used nor needed a peel, so I will have to try it out to understand it better. I'm excited to smell the Harvey Prince because I've been loving some of their perfume samples I've been getting recently. I'm assuming the TEMPTU is another generic highlighter similar to HighBeam, so I might find a use for it, but probably not. Everyone is talking about how amazing the Acure products are, but I've never heard of the brand. I'm hoping it works good, but it is for normal-to-dry skin, which I do not have at all. I chose the Maacdamia Spray as my sample this month, but only because it was the best of crappy options. While I will probably use it, I'm not falling over to use it.
