Ipsy Glam Bag - July 2014

Ipsy once again had troubles this month. The ipsy Glam Rooms were late opening and then tracking codes either never went out or were messed up. I personally received my tracking code about four hours after my bag had arrived, so I found it funny. Enough things were coming so I didn't really notice until my bag popped up. Once again, it didn't really bug me too much. I like knowing what I'm getting and when I'm getting it, but it's not going to kill me to not know. :)

For those that don't know, Ipsy is a monthly subscription priced at $10/month that sends 4-5 products plus a different makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points for referring people to joining. Those points can also be earned for sharing your bag on Facebook and reviewing the products you receive. The nice part is they offer coupons for their monthly items and you can get the coupons for all products in all bags that month, just not yours. The points earned can be used at 1000 increments to get their special items of the month/time period.

Such a pretty pink bag to show up in the mailbox. When most of my packages come in boring colors, this always makes me happy to see!

This month's theme is Sensationally Sunkissed, and would have fit if I had received the dreaded tanning oil! It still works, but I'm definitely not sunkissed. :)

Annnnd, the pink ravioli bag. It smells awful, and now I know what everyone was talking about with the mascara last month. People have compared the two extensively, so now I'm not out of the loop. The bag really does smell like burning rubber/plastic. After I took it out of the shipping bag and let it air out, the smell is gone. I'm sure it had to do with being stuck in the shipping bag and in the heat, but it's all good now!

Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm (Unique Pink) ($9.60) - I'm assuming this price is correct, but I'm not 100% on it, so don't accuse me if it's wrong! I love, love, love their products! This is minty and lovely! It's sheer when you put it on and changes color based on the pH of your body. I can attest that it does change colors once it is on your body, because I not only have pink lips but I have a pink line of my wrist. It is also a stain so even after the moisturizing of the balm is gone, you still have color on your lips.

bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 (The Inspiration) ($6.00) - I love these colors and this shadow line in general. Ipsy is kicking butt this month with getting me to want to buy products! The entire line of colors is amazing, and there is great staying power. I could see myself buying a ton of these, and I really don't like smaller packs of eyeshadows. I considering this a great investment for anyone that wants to try out different colors, for sure!

Pur-Lisse Pur-Protect SPF 30 ($14.70) - Sunscreen is summery, so I can get behind that! I don't wear sunscreen, but that's because I rarely need it. I almost never burn (only do when I'm on the beach for a while) and I never go out just to tan. Maybe if I quit using makeup that already has SPF in it, I will start using sunscreen, but not today. My mom is very happy to be getting this, though!

derma-e BB Creme (Light Tint) ($7.38) - I admit, I'm addicted to BB creams. I love getting them and love using them, especially in the summer. They are great to have enough coverage without feeling heavy and weighed down! I suggest trying this if you are still looking for a good BB cream.

POPBeauty Sunkissed Bronzer (Secret Sunshine) ($10.00) - I'm assuming this is full-sized, so that's what I'm going off of it with. It's huge, so if there is one bigger, I couldn't see anyone ever finishing it. This will stay in its plastic until I either miraculously get tanner or I find someone to use it, because all bronzers are far too dark for me to use. I have never contoured and never needed it (here's hoping).

This bag's total is $47.68, which is ridiculous! I spent $10 and I know that all but one product will be used to its extent! I'm very happy with this bag and know I can get almost full use of each product. Did anyone else get ipsy this month? Results?
