Ipsy Glam Bag - May 2014

Ipsy is one of my favorite subs that I get, and I was excited to see that gorgeous pink bag in my mailbox! Ipsy is a beauty subscription that sends 4-5 samples and full sized products. While most items are makeup, some are general beauty products. They have a referral program and you can earn extra points by reviewing the products you receive as well as sharing your bag on Facebook every month. If you are interested, my referral link is here.

This month's theme was Fresh Picks, which I feel is great for the impending (theoretical) summer. Those that are having a typical summer rather than a blackberry winter could definitely use the sunscreen they sent everyone! My bag also smelled AMAZING and I knew there was something that I was going to love just because of that!

Check out other Ipsy reviews here.

The bag was very summery!! I thought it was so cute and was definitely a different fabric than they usually use.

My items! :)

Calvin Klein Endless Euphoria. I wasn't all too excited about this. It kinda smells like my mother, and that's not the smell I was hoping for. I'm not even sure if it's worth trading because of the risk of it breaking. I'll end up donating this.

Sans Tan Sunscreen SPF 35. I don't typically use sunscreen due to my makeup already having sunscreen in it. This sample isn't near enough to use on my arms/legs, so I might save this for days when I'm not wearing makeup. Possibly on my impending vacation (if it ever happens).

Avene Thermal Spring Water. I have read that this is useful for setting makeup, however I don't have problems with my makeup staying put without a setting spray. I also know that once it does warm up in Georgia, I will not need any extra water due to the humidity. This will be going in my trade pile.

Eva Nyc Hair Mask. This smells GREAT! I'm not sure I want to use it because I have so much hair and it won't last long. I want to keep the scent as long as I can!

Pacifica Eyeshadow Duo Purple/Gold. This is a pretty duo in the container, but it doesn't have the staying power that I want in a shadow. Even with UD primer, it's not long-lasting. It also falls out easily and isn't really blendable. This isn't a good comparison to other Pacifica shadows and I hope this doesn't put a bad taste in people's mouths because of its poor quality.

Overall, I liked this bag. I can do something with most of the products and hope that water will help the shadow. What is everyone else's opinions on this month's bag?
