Northern Star Polish - Protego Totalum Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Happy Thursday, y'all! This is a throwback polish that I have never seen in the second-hand market, but there's always hope I suppose.

Protego Totalum is cranberry red linear holographic with gold shimmer.

Brush macro.

Bottle macro.

Glossy nail macro.

This is one of my very first indie purchases, so this makes me feel a certain kind of way. It did come with an oil rollerball, that I've since used, and it had some little art bits that I have somewhere.

I used two coats and this polish was fully opaque, it probably could have been in one coat had I swatched a little thicker. It did dry down with texture and it dried to a shine finish.

Matte nail macro.

I like this matte for just a red moment, but I really like it glossy with the holographic shining through.

Formula: Good.
Coats for Opacity: Two coats.
Ease of Dry: Quick dry.
Texture: Texture noted.
Finish: Shine.
Removal: Normal removal, no issues noted.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
