Boxycharm - May 2020 Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

This post includes referral links to Boxycharm. If you use my link to sign up, I will get charms in my Boxycharm account. Find out more information here.

What is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box that sends 4-5 full-size beauty products with boxes being valued at $100+. Each month has a theme but it's not followed exactly as much as the spirit of the theme. Shipping has gotten a lot better since my last Boxycharm post, I get my box almost always in the first half of the month (there is a distribution center less than an hour from my house).

How Much is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is $21/month shipped. Currently, Boxycharm is offered to the US, its territories, and Canada.

This is the final Boxycharm, unless they send me an awesome offer for June and I get FOMO. I'm tired of just okay boxes. Yep, I canceled. It hurt a little.

Studio Makeup Easy to Wear Palette ($35.00) - If this had been in a starter box, I wouldn't have been mad. But a basic neutrals palette with a pop of pink (that doesn't really pop) in a box where we've received numerous neutral and pop palettes, it just seems like a joke. I swatched it and some of the shadows swatch nicely, but it's comparable (or lower quality) to an ELF palette for $15.

Ayam Beauty Care Dead Sea Minerals + Vitamin C Makeup Remover Wipes ($17.00) - These do the job, but I don't know what Vitamin C will do in a makeup wipe. You can also get makeup remover wipes from Target for super cheap, so these seem kinda expensive.

GlamGlow BerryGlow Face Mask ($49.00) - This is the only thing I'm happy about receiving in the box, and it's only a mild form of happiness. This is a fine mask but I have so many masks and so another isn't the worst thing but it's not the best either.

Daily Concepts Shampoo Bar ($24.00) - This was horribly scented. Like I could tell I hated it when I opened the box. I would also never pay this much for a shampoo bar when you can get them from Lush that smell amazing.

Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer ($22.00) - I don't really use eye primer and when I do, I use my Notoriously Morbid one.

Swatches of Studio Makeup.

This box was valued at $147.00, but as you can tell from my canceling, I wasn't happy with this box. I went back and looked at each box from this year and realized that I really only loved and used the items from one of the boxes, so this was just the final straw.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments below!
