Play! by Sephora - January 2020 Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

What is Play by Sephora?: Play! by Sephora is Sephora's own monthly subscription box! Each month will include five deluxe samples plus a fragrance sample (or sometimes a hair sample), all coming from the same brands that Sephora carries! Each box also includes a Play Book (tips and tricks) and a Play Pass (a one-on-one tutorial at Sephora and a bonus 50 points with purchase).

How Much is Play by Sephora?: Play by Sephora is $10/month plus your state's sales tax (if a Sephora is in your store). It ships for free but only to the contiguous 48 states.

The penultimate Sephora bag. For me, anyways.

Info sheet.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Brightening Eye Cream ($16.22) - Previously reviewed here. Kept, but it's a repeat.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer ($8.64) - Previously reviewed here. Used to like it but I've moved on to better primers since.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Eau de Toilette (Sample) - I like Amazing Grace. It smells musky but fresh still and is a nice light scent.

GlamGlow Supermud Activated Charcoal Treatment Mask ($17.35) - Previously reviewed here, and apparently it's gone up. My skin has changed since the last time I received this so I did use it, but not before it got all over my bathroom because the opening is sealed and I didn't know and SQUEEZED.

Lancome Clis Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base ($9.76) - Previously reviewed here. I don't use mascara bases, pass.

Kat Von D (KVD Beauty) Tattoo Liner (Trooper) ($6.63) - Vaccinate your kids and don't be a Nazi, y'all. Also, previously reviewed here and here.

This bag was valued at $58.60, but other than the sample it was completely a repeated bag. Considering how many new products are coming out weekly, it shouldn't be that hard to get at least two non-repeated items in each month's bag. It would have been my last bag had I remembered to cancel, but I forgot until after February so February will be my final bag.

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments below!
