This is my final box with Ipsy Plus for now.

Info card.

I hated this bag so much. It's just reminiscent of what we thought space people would look like.

Complex Culture Press & Set Bronzer Brush ($35.00) - I really like everything about this brush. It's weighted well, the bristles help pack on product without being too dense, and it washes well. I don't know that I'd spend $35 on it, but I'm happy with it coming in this bag.

Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Stay Spray Setting Spray ($25.00) - I was so excited for this, until I used it. I thought that since I love Shape Tape so much, this would be a no brainer that it'd be amazing. Instead, it's a glittery mess. Yes, I said it, glitter. There's some glitter or flecks of something to make you look dewy, but instead you're an extra from Twilight (that will always be my reference, because vampires aren't supposed to sparkle. #BtVS).

Evolue Skincare Super Oil ($68.00) - This is nice for adding moisture, but it's not something that I'd repurchase. I have cheaper oils that do the same. If I was going to spend that much on a product, it'd be something from Sephora or Ulta that I could at least get points on.

Noyah Organic Lip Balm Set (Peppermint & Vanilla) ($3.99/ea) - This was the end of me getting Plus for now. I'm fine getting something small like this in my regular bags, but this is a $25 box and I don't think lip balm should be in it. When I mentioned it to CS, they explained to me that the rest of my items were high-value, something that made me more irritated. This is a fine lip balm and I'd probably buy it if I didn't always have extras of the NM ones, but it shouldn't have been in this box.

Ittse The Van Ness Eyeshadow Quad ($60.00) - This was my choice item for the month, but I mostly just wanted another magnetic palette to put things in. The shadows are fine but not as pigmented as I expected based on the rave reviews of Ittse that I'd seen. Not a good offering for a newbie to a brand, but they're fine for a basic eye look.

Swatches of Ittse.

This box was valued at $195.98, and I liked it just fine. I don't know that I'd pay what some of these brands ask for their products, but that's my choice. Like I mentioned in the beginning, this is the final Ipsy Plus box for me for now. I skipped January and ended up canceling by the time February rolled around, as I wasn't thrilled by what I saw. This box had so much potential and I still love the basic Ipsy bag, but this one just wasn't doing it for me.

As always, let me know what you thought of this month's box in the comments below!
