Boxycharm - August 2019 Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

This post includes referral links to Boxycharm. If you use my link to sign up, I will get charms in my Boxycharm account. Find out more information here.

What is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box that sends 4-5 full-size beauty products with boxes being valued at $100+. Each month has a theme but it's not followed exactly as much as the spirit of the theme. Shipping has gotten a lot better since my last Boxycharm post, I get my box almost always in the first half of the month (there is a distribution center less than an hour from my house).

How Much is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is $21/month shipped. Currently, Boxycharm is offered to the US, its territories, and Canada.

This box was actually pretty small, something I'm not used to from Boxycharm.

Info card.

Tarte Cosmetics Big Ego Mascara ($23.00) - This does a good job of lifting and curling without adding too much length, which I like. I would probably repurchase if I hadn't found my holy grail mascara later on in the year.

Wander Beauty Glow Ahead Illuminating Oil ($42.00) - I wasn't a fan of this at all. It added this weird sheen to my face and I just didn't like that, but I am much more of a fan of satin faces, so that's on me.

Steve Laurant Lip Liner (Uptown) ($15.00) - If you're looking for a classic 90's brick red/brown liner, this is the one for you. I don't typically wear those lip colors so I did pass it along.

Ace Beaute Glimmer Shadow Duo (Cotton Candy & Iced Latte) ($25.00) - These two shadows immediately went into my Alex and haven't left yet. They're the perfect shimmer to add to either a neutral brown look or something a bit redder and more Summery. They're creamy and wear super nice as well.

Becca Cosmetics Hydra-Mist & Refresh Powder ($39.00) - I love this powder, so much so that I actually broke the lid and it hasn't kept me cool since. Even so, the powder itself is great and this will probably be my repurchase of loose powders, I just like how it makes my makeup look.

Swatches L-R: Ace Beaute, Steve Laurant.

This box was valued at $144.00. I liked it so much and definitely found some great items in the box. This proves that the box doesn't have to be perfect for me to love it.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments below!
