Boxycharm - March 2019 Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

This post includes referral links to Boxycharm. If you use my link to sign up, I will get charms in my Boxycharm account. Find out more information here.

What is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box that sends 4-5 full-size beauty products with boxes being valued at $100+. Each month has a theme but it's not followed exactly as much as the spirit of the theme. Shipping has gotten a lot better since my last Boxycharm post, I get my box almost always in the first half of the month (there is a distribution center less than an hour from my house).

How Much is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is $21/month shipped. Currently, Boxycharm is offered to the US, its territories, and Canada.

MODA Brushes Powder & Soft Glow Kit ($29.99) - So I like the powder brush, it's fluffy and blends powder out nicely on my face and just overall works. The highlight brush, however, is suuuuuuuper floppy and just gets highlight everywhere except where you want. So basically I kept half of this set.

Appeal Cosmetics Liquid Eyeshadow (Rose Gold) ($21.00) - In what world is this copper glittery mess 'rose gold?' Also, it's glittery mess and that just isn't my thing.

OFRA Cosmetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick (Monaco) ($20.00) - An icy cool-toned pink with a metallic finish, basically everything I could possibly dislike in a lipstick LOL. The formula is so good, though, and I'd keep the right shade of this.

CoverFX Perfector Face Palette (Light/Medium) ($45.00) - I was all over the place with this palette. On one hand, it has a super pretty contour shade and highlight shade that works for me. On the other hand, I can't use the blush or that other highlight and it's pretty huge. I decided to give this to a specific person that doesn't wear a ton of makeup and could easily use this as a one and done palette.

Not pictured: Wander Beauty Lift Off Purifying and Brightening Peel Off Mask ($34.00) - I don't know where the picture of this went, but luckily it's just a mask. I like this for my nose and chin and it helps to get rid of the grossness that I've been growing there but because it's a peel-off mask, I can combine this with other masks to create the perfect one for me. Also, who doesn't love a peel-off mask?

L-R: CoverFX, OFRA, Appeal Cosmetics.

This box was valued at $149.99. Overall, I didn't find a lot of joy in this box. I ended up only keeping one and a half things, which isn't what I want when I spend $21 (now $25).

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
