Next month into Ipsy Plus. Let’s see how it goes.

This bag was interesting, a little dated.

F.A.R.A.H Brushes ($25.00) - For the price tag on these, I really thought they’d blow all other brushes out of the water. While they are perfectly find brushes, they’re nothing special and the handles are cheap plastic. These perform okay but you really don’t need a ton of face brushes so while I kept these, they will most likely be destashed at some point.

Smith & Cult Eye Shadow Palette (Interlewd) ($44.00) - This drove me up a wall. The other container looks like melted metal and the inside is crooked, it drives my OCD self crazy (yes, I am clinically diagnosed with OCD, I’m not making a joke). The shadows were pretty good and I would have kept the quad if it hadn’t been a mess.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick (Jealous) ($32.00) - This is a really pretty shade but not for me. The formula is amazing and I would totally wear a neutral shade in this formula if it showed up on my doorstep.

Lancome Le Monochromatique ($25.00) - I really like this as an eye shadow but it’s not a shade that I could feasibly wear for a blush. The formula is really good for a blush or an eye shadow but I ended up giving it to someone who could get through it as a blush, because I’ll never get through it as an eye shadow. The shade doesn't make sense as a blush or a lip color, even thought it's marketed as a three-in-one. Just a weird product.

Not pictured: 111Skin Vitamin C Brightening Booster ($155.00) - This is a good serum but it’s so expensive that I hate liking it.

Swatches L-R: Smith & Cult, Estee Lauder, Lancome.

This box was valued at $281.00. Overall, this bag was a bit of a letdown. I kept the serum and the brushes, but there wasn’t a good exploration with products in this bag. I like that Ipsy gave us a lot of high end products, but the box is still only worth it if you find value in the products.

As always, let me know what you thought of this month’s bag in the comments!
