What is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy is a monthly subscription that sends 4-5 beauty/makeup products plus a different makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire.

How Much is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy Glam Bag is only $10 per month shipped to the United States or $10 plus shipping ($4.95) to Canada.

I now receive ipsy Plus with my original profile and a regular ipsy with my new profile.

Check out other ipsy reviews here.

How will this compare to the Ipsy Plus? Let’s see!

The bag gives me Summer/beach vibes. Weird for a January bag.

Belle En Argent Lip Luire Lip Gloss (Bored Now) ($17.19) - This is just a basic clear lip gloss, something that I don’t have a want/need for, I passed it along.

SLMissGlam SB68 Eye Brush ($8.29) - I really like this brush, but the cost is a little high in my opinion. I love the bristles but the handle is so cheap, it saddens me.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation (Fair Sand) ($5.46) - This is a good foundation but I was sent a shade too dark for me to wear. I tested it out and passed along to my mom, who is slightly darker than I am and can usually wear the foundations I am sent.

Goldfaden MD Skin Balancing Mask ($18.75) - I didn’t really love this, it just didn’t seem to do anything good or bad.

Color Club Nail Polish (Williamsburg) ($8.50) - I love blues but I don’t typically wear inky blue polishes without there being something special. Luckily, this has a gorgeous navy shimmer! There will be a full swatch review...eventually.

Swatches L-R: Belle En Argent & Tarte.

This bag was valued at $58.19. Overall, this was a bit of a letdown. I hate receiving foundation and not receiving the right shade. I feel like unless you can be pretty inclusive, you shouldn’t send it out (perhaps have more in-depth questions for face products?) and while a polish is fun, it’s not something unique to me.

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
