Ipsy Glam Bag - December 2018 Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Some of the links below are referral links, this means I get points from ipsy if you subscribe using my link. Find out more info here.

What is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy is a monthly subscription that sends 4-5 beauty/makeup products plus a different makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire.

How Much is ipsy Glam Bag?: ipsy Glam Bag is only $10 per month shipped to the United States or $10 plus shipping ($4.95) to Canada.

There is now a Glam Bag Plus for $25/month. I get that bag (box) in addition my regular one now. My second, regular ipsy is with the profile slightly different to get a variety of products.

We're back with another F.A.R.A.H. brush, let's see how it pans out.

Theme card.

Cute bag, still passed it along.

Benefit POREfessional ($4.27) - This once was my go-to primer, but I’ve since found others that I like.I do keep one on hand for really bad pore days or for when my chin is a mess and I need help and give away the rest. It’s a good pore-filling primer, just not my favorite anymore.

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish (Zero Carbs) ($15.00) - I don’t like TFB polishes, for the price. If it was a $10 polish, I’d be all over it. I did keep this and will swatch it for its own post at some point.

Katherine Cosmetics (Siena's Highlight) (Unknown) - There isn't a sizing on the full size that I can find so I couldn't get a value for this item. This is a stunning highlight but a little chunky so it does have to be blended a bit more than I typically would. Not complaining, though.

theBalm Nude Beach Vol 3 (Bootylicious) ($4.88) - I thought this would be significantly be redder than what it swatched. If it had been, I would have kept it. Because it swatches like a brown, I passed it along.

Grace & Stella Dead Sea Mud Mask ($4.75) - I passed this along because I had just kept a different mud mask when this came in.

F.A.R.A.H. Luxurious Tapered Blending Brush 35E ($7.33) - Like I've mentioned in the past, F.A.R.A.H. brush handles aren't exceptionally nice and I would definitely compare it to ELF or Wet n Wild brushes but with a higher price tag. The bristles are nice, but again, I don't think they're as good as the price says they are. Would I buy? No. Will I use? Absolutely.

Swatches L-R: Katherine Cosmetics, theBalm.

This bag was valued at $36.23 (+ Katherine Cosmetics). I liked this bag okay and found some good products, but it wasn't my favorite bag ever.

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
