Boxycharm - August 2018 Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

This post includes referral links to Boxycharm. If you use my link to sign up, I will get charms in my Boxycharm account. Find out more information here.

What is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box that sends 4-5 full-size beauty products with boxes being valued at $100+. Each month has a theme but it's not followed exactly as much as the spirit of the theme. Shipping has gotten a lot better since my last Boxycharm post, I get my box almost always in the first half of the month (there is a distribution center less than an hour from my house).

How Much is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is $25/month shipped. Currently, Boxycharm is offered to the US, its territories, and Canada.

If you sign up for Boxycharm Luxe, four times a year you will get a different box that costs an additional $28.99 on top of the $21. You will not get a 'regular' Boxycharm that month and there's currently no way to get both the regular and the Luxe during the Luxe months without having two subscriptions at once. Until you can get both without dealing with two subscriptions, I will stay with the 'regular' one. There is also a Premium box that is yearly. Basically, it's confusing as hell.

Another month, another palette!

Info card.

Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector ($21.00) - I really love this for around my nose and on my chin where I have some lingering texture. It smooths out my areas without causing it to be greasy or have the products on top pill up. Win!

Bang Beauty Brow Cream (Dark Brown) ($22.00) - This is a pretty good shade match for me, especially for something that I didn't get to choose before hand. It's ever so slightly too warm for me but not enough to be noticed by anyone besides me. I like the formula and how it wears. Another win!

Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Eye Masks ($12.50) - These have been popping up so frequently and I'm not mad about it at all! I use eye masks every other week or so and rotate them in/out and I still have quite a few of these left! I don't know if they help with my under eye luggage but it helps with moisture so that's enough for me.

NCLA So Rich (Lollipop Lollipop) ($18.00) - I used this and I still have some left. I am not the biggest fan of dropper cuticle oil because I make so much of a mess of it. The scent is fine and it moisturizes well enough also!

Laura Lee Los Angeles Party Animal ($19.00) - I have seen so many conflicting thoughts about this product. It's definitely not something that I gravitate towards but I do use that orange and the purple from time to time. I wouldn't have purchased it myself (I would have preferred the neutrals version) but I'm not going to hate on it as well.

Smashbox Be Legendary Liquid Lip (Moscow Muled) ($32.00) - This, I will hate on. The formula was so bad and the shade is so brown that I passed it on immediately.

Swatches of Laura Lee Los Angeles, Smashbox, and Bang Beauty.

This box was valued at 124.50, over the guaranteed value. I did like the box pretty well overall, which is what's most important.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
