Barkbox - October 2018 (Just Right) Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

What is BarkBox?: BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for your favorite pupper. Each box includes five items, two toys, two bags of treats, and a chew. You tell them the size of your pupper and how you want to pay, and then you decide if you want to spend an extra $9/box for an extra toy! It's divided into three sizes, so Trumpet fits nicely in the middle category as 'Just Right' whereas Murphy firmly fits in 'large.'

How Much is BarkBox?: If you want no commitments, cancel anytime, the box is $29/month. A three-month commitment brings it down to $25/month. Six months is $23/month (billed up-front as $138) and a one-year commitment is $20/month but you get to pay monthly! You get free shipping anywhere in the US and Canada, but there is sales tax applied to certain states.

Someone is anxiously waiting his box (the Just Right box is intended for him, key word being intend).

And here we have the big, little brother, knowing he will steal the toys even though they're for his smaller big brother.

Loved the theme, instantly.

Theme card.

The Snackening (Apple & Bacon) ($5.00) - These are meaty and chewy treats, Trumpet's favorite. The ingredients were all safe for our house and the boys loved these treats.

The Snackening (Pork) ($5.00) - See above, everything was perfect for the boys.

Pork & Sweet Potato Chew ($3.00) - I don't typically give the chews because they do send those gross, greasy chews. This was a good, meaty chew that I was able to break in half and give half to each pupper.

Spencer the Spectral Scout ($10.00) - Murphy loves a good fluffy squirrel tail to shred and tear apart. Even though the Just Right toys are meant for Trumpet, Murphy is the typically little brother (my partner is a little brother, I'm allowed to say this :D).

Scurrymore the Butler ($10.00) - Because his little brother stole the other toy, Trumpet was a good big brother and settled for this toy. I make it sound like they hate each other, they do play really well together and will engage in fierce battles until one gives up and they go to separate corners to tear up toys or nap.

This box was valued at the typical $33.00. The theme was absolutely adorable (although I'm a Halloween fiend so I might be biased) and everything was the quality I expect from Barkbox.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
