Walmart Beauty Box - Latest in Lips | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

So instead of the Walmart Beauty Box subscription, I found quite a few Walmart Beauty Favorites boxes not at my Walmart but at a different one (I was looking for the Physician's Formula Butter Boxes that I never found but that a friend graciously found and sent to me). When walking around the beauty section, I found these bizarre boxes that had been curated based on a theme and thought they'd be something fun and a little different to share. All of the boxes were around the $7-$9 range but I don't remember exactly how much each individual box cost.

The theme for this box is Latest in Lips and the box is filled with different lip products. I like this box idea because if you like something, you can easily repurchase it at Walmart and nothing is super expensive.

Loving the fact that there's an entire box filled with lippies. This is what dreams are made of. (Cue two Hilary Duffs dancing around.)

Cute boxes, a little wasteful, way too much cardboard/paper and plastic for the small items inside.

Milani Amore Shine Liquid Lip Color (Tenderness) ($7.97) - This is super shiny but it's also a bit sticky, stickier than what I like in a lip product. Pass.

e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick (Ravishing Rose) ($6.47) - Such a pretty red, but way too shiny for me and not the tone I wear. Also, I only keep one red lipstick because I almost never wear red lipsticks.

Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink (Poet) ($7.98) - I absolutely hate this shade of pink. It's like a piece of bubblegum exploded everywhere. I like the formula but it is difficult to remove without an oil-based remover. The applicator, however, is amazing.

Revlon Kiss Plumping Lip Creme (Cashmere Creme) ($7.97) - A bit too warm-toned for me, but it's a comfortable wear. If I could have ever found this in stores, I probably would have bought a different shade.

L'Oreal Paris Infallible 8HR Pro Gloss (Modern Mauve) (Sample) - The only knock-out product in this box, and it's a sample no less. The shade, perfect. The formula, so good. It dries to a comfortable matte and the shade is the right mix of red, brown, and pink!

Hard Candy Plumping Serum Lip Gloss (Sugar Sugar) ($6.00) - I really wanted to like this product because I do enjoy plumping products (I want my lips to be fuller but I'm afraid of a bad reaction). This didn't really plump my lips like the Too Faced products do so I passed this along to my mom.

Swatches in order as it is above, omitting the colorless Hard Candy Plumping Lip Gloss.

This box is valued at $32.92, good value for the box. It gave me the opportunity to try some products I wouldn't have otherwise bought, and learning that I don't like many lip products.

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
