This was the Black Friday mystery polish from 2017 but should be re-released soon! I missed it as the mystery polish, I already owned everything other than Beta Batches, so I bought this at a somewhat recent restock. Make sure you're in the fan group because some polishes are getting discontinued and I don't want you to miss out!
Flare Star is a dark red based holographic multichrome with purple-to-red color shifting shimmer, indigo blue shimmer, violet sparks, and silver holographic microglitter.
Brush macro.
Bottle macro.
Glossy nail macro.
You know how I feel about purples, so this was of course going to become a part of my collection. This is stunning and the shimmer is to die for.
This polish applied so nicely. I used two coats but I could have easily used one thicker coat. It applied smoothly and without dry issues or texture.
Matte nail macro.
I even love this matte, but it looks so much better glossy.
Formula: Good.
Coats Used: Two coats.
Ease of Dry: Normal.
Texture: None noted.
